Are Diet Pills Harmful?

I had heard a lot about magic diet pills to lose weight. I wanted to know "are diet pills harmful?" but couldn't get the answer. I thought I should give it a try. I bought a bottle of pills that lasted for about a month. These were basically overvalued fish oil with some compound in it that was supposed to help lose weight.

I used these weight loss diet pills for over a month. My behavior was very unhealthful and my body became very large in a short span of time. I went to consult the doctor to ask "are diet pills harmful?" After the checkup, it was revealed that my blood pressure was 180 over 110, cholesterol was 250, and my triglycerides were far above the permissible level.

I had to stop these pills and modified my diet quickly to reduce some weight so my numbers would get improved. I started to follow a line of investigation on weight loss pills and diets. I got the answer to my question "are diet pills harmful?" and established that weight loss pills are really harmful.

The best method to lose weight is to stick with the old ways. Reduce intake of red meat to as little as possible and eat habitually chicken and fish. Reduce the fat in everything you consume. Reduce intake of cooking oil. Complete grain foods are your friends; they are absorbed in a different way as compared to other carbohydrates. Calculate your calories and quantity of fat that you intake and keep a daily record of it.

Information relating to diet can be found on more than a few places throughout the internet. If you follow a specified and recommended diet plan along with the exercises on daily basis, it is sure that the weight will fall off. Persistence is the key to success. Don't surrender on the diet either. You have to attach yourself with it. I would also advise taking fish oil, multivitamins, and fiber on daily basis to help you lose those numbers as well. If you follow the guidelines, you will not need to ask the question "are diet pills harmful?"

After taking the Diet-pills, I did not actually notice any change in my weight loss. A lot of these weight loss pills are either cheat or harmful. They include a lot of caffeine or other substances that can twist with your system. Since I had experienced these diet pills myself, therefore there was no need to ask "are diet pills harmful?"
